INSIC WEBPICK is a newly launch website of mine. It showcases websites, articles and tutorials personally handpick by me.

How it Started?
I really have a lot of websites that I like to visit everyday or anytime I need something from it. From reference websites, articles, design inspirations and specially web application resources, technical news and updates. And it turns out that I hardly find them in my very long list of bookmarks by the time I want to visit them.
So I decided to make and online showcase of them. So that i can easily find it and I can now clean my browser bookmarks. And I can share my favorite website collection which can be useful to others by means of reference and looking for new reference and inspiration. And here it is, INSIC WEBPIC is now online. And I started posting my array of useful site collection.
If you want your website to be included in my compilation. Just feel free to drop me a comment or message.
My previous domain insicdesigns.info was hosted to this cheap and almost unknown Web Hosting reseller HostIcon.net. The date of expiry on my subscription to their package is this coming April 2009 and also my domain name insicdesigns.info. One day i visit my site insicdesigns.info and surprisingly i was redirected to http://hosticon.net/suspended.page/. Whattttttttttttt!!!! and Why? Thats the very first question that comes into my mind. So I review my emails hoping that I missed out some notifications from this hosting provider, but i found nothing. I emailed them and got no reply.
The next day I’m impatient waiting for an explanations from them. So I decided to buy a new hosting package, this time from 1and1 and now I know it is reliable (of course it is :)).
I did change the DNS settings of my domain (insicdesigns.info) to point my new hosting server, and in an hour my site back online and still no reply from HostIcon. Ive decided not to expect any reply from them because I have resolved my problem already.
The saga continues the next day when I check my site and I redirected to http://hosticon.net/suspended.page/ again!. Holy Crap! I know I did the right thing pointing my domain to the new server. So, to verify I tried log to my domain control panel, and surprisingly i cant logged in to my account. Hmmm smells like shit!, from that point I already have an idea that they changed something in my domain settings. So I run a domain lookup using WhoIs and yes they change the DNS settings to point my domain to their server. I felt really bad. Why i choose HostIcon in the firstplace.
I read terms and conditions. But maybe I missed out this.
Hosting provider are allowed to suspend subscription without notifying to the subscriber. And we are allowed to logged in to your domain control panel and change your settings whenever we need to.
In that moment, I decided to registered a new domain name. Still insicdesings coz i love this name but now its in .com. Finally insicdesings.com is up and running. And its hosted and registered to a reliable provider.
